Family Activity: Lift and Load Construction

At Mulberry Harbour, pulleys and levers were used to lift heavy supplies and equipment, build a simple crane models with string and cardboard to see how these tools work. By experimenting with levers and pulleys, it will help you to understand how they reduce effort and make lifting objects easier, just like the workers did during the construction of the harbour.
