Anyone wishing to conduct research using the Museum’s collection can purchase an Annual Research Pass which enables them to view selected items from the collection by appointment.  Passes cost £14.00 per person and appointments are available on most Tuesdays and Wednesdays and must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

We have embarked on a programme to improve access to, and storage of, our Collection.  The first stage has seen items from the Library and Archive packed and moved from their previous inaccessible location within the barracks of the Royal School of Military Engineering.

The Archive collection is now housed within the Museum building and is accessible to the public by appointment. Future plans include creating suitable storage space on-site for the Library book collection, however we currently have a very limited selection of books available. These include the Corps History, The Sapper Magazine, The Professional Papers and the Royal Engineers Journal.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this but we hope that you will understand and bear with us for the duration of the Archive Development project.

For further details of the project and to make a donation please visit our Giving page.
