Regimental Outreach

The Museum knows that many regiments find it difficult to visit the Museum so we are now offering outreach sessions. In these sessions a member or members of the curatorial team would visit your unit and deliver a presentation, or hands-on session on a particular topic relating to your unit. Depending on the session and where it is based we can also bring along artefacts from the collection to use as part of the presentation.

Topics include:

  • The History of Firearms (very popular!)
  • Bomb Disposal
  • Bridging
  • Construction
  • Geo/Survey
  • Technical innovations
  • Diving
  • Watermanship
  • Combat Engineering
  • Support to the Community
  • Armoured Engineers
  • Airborne
  • Air Support
  • Past specialisms (ie flying/photography/postal/transport etc)
