EXHIBITION: The Great War in 3D

May 12, 2015 - November 15, 2015

ALT text

This exhibition displays a series of rare stereoscopic (three dimensional) photographs from the First World War. Not only does this provide us with a new visual perspective; we are able to see the War from the perspective of German soldiers. The images were taken by Karl Bußhoff and Otto Mötje and represent only a fraction of the hundreds of images contained within both of their collections.

3D glasses are available in the exhibition. The images would have originally been a pair of images used to deceive the eye, however, this exhibition will feature single anaglyph images which can be viewed using the red and cyan coloured glasses.
